We design golf courses that possess timeless beauty rather than those that are the fashion for a short period of 5-10 years. We can only achieve this goal by blending the golf course into its natural surroundings. As in all aspects of life: The eye tires of the modern while the classic keeps its charm throughout time. A contemporary ultramodern golf course will appear like an ancient relict to next generations. On the other hand we still love playing the old classic British and American golf courses and enjoy their enduring design and charm. The task of achieving harmony between the golf course and the surroundings requires intensive study of the land and its characteristics. Producing plans by computer followed by just a few visits on site is taboo for us. The foundation for our plans are the careful reading of the land and all the features it has to offer. This is the only way to preserve its natural form and to create an area which is close to nature, even if large amounts of earth-moving are undertaken.
