Our services:
1. Site Assessment
The proposed site for a golf course is studied in detail during one or more visits. The suitability of the site for a golf course is checked and the first design ideas are conceived.
2. Recommendations
We produce recommendations for a possible or desired golf course, give advice how this golf course should be done and create a first preliminary layout-plan for discussion with the client. With the first ideas, the proposed budget and the management concept, we then develop the first conceptual design of the golf course.
3. Approval Planning
Depending on the country, we undertake the entire process of approval planning or work in collaboration with local planning-offices. From environmental and development planning, through construction planning down to the building approval.
4. Master Plan
A masterplan requires the agreement of all parties involved in the project. After consulting with these parties we produce a masterplan which is then modified as needed after referral back to all involved parties and authorities. In addition to the master plan we provide at this stage a detailed estimate of costing, the final design-plan and colored versions for publicity purposes. A 3D-visualization in colaboration with specialized offices can delivered as an extra.
5. Detailed drawings
The detailed drawings consist of
- clearing and staking plans as required
- a detailed work plan covering all working areas
- detailed description of ground movements
- drainage-plans
- detailed drawings for greens, tees, bunkers, re-shaping, water-hazards, etc.
- irrigation-plans
- planting-plans
- sseding-plans
6. Selection of contractor
To make it possible for the client to choose the right contractors for his golf project we prepare exact computerized calculations, bill of quantities and specifications. We also undertake the process of tendering and give advice to the client when placing the contract.
7. Supervision
Fundamental to our work is the supervision of the construction. The building of every golf course we design is supervised periodically by us to ensure it is fullfilled in the way it was planned. We supervise the construction process up to the final stage. An on-site construction manager, under contract of the client, to achieve the best result and control can be organized.
8. Clubhouses end other edifications
We work in very close cooperation with an experienced architect to provide a full package of golf and clubhouses, rainsheds, etc. into which the client can introduce his own wishes and ideas. The clearing will therefore be much more efficient.
9. Languages
Mr. Himmel and part of his office-crew are fully conversant in German, English and Spanish.
