The Golfanlagen-Bewirtschaftungs-Gesellschaft Chieming mbH & Co. Betriebs KG decided, due to long-time deficits in the greens and impairing shadows from a southerly forest, to renovate and redesign the course in Chieming-Hart in South Germany in 2003. The design was done by Himmel Golf Design. To relocate 5 greens from this shadows, new land bordering the north of the course was acquired where to new holes were laid out. The beautiful stock of trees on the course was used to transplant 20 specimen trees to the new ground – to create a visual unit with the existing course. After two phases of construction the course was re-opened in 2006.
