This was awarded to Paris in the final round of the five applicant countries. The design, on a total area of \u200b\u200bapprox. 160 hectares, would not only have met all the space criteria required for a Ryder Cup, but would also have offered every golfer strategy, fun, fairness, relaxation and nature - at the very highest level.
