Freiburger Golfclub e.V. tuvo que renunciar a dos de sus hoyos (n\u00fam. 2 y 7) hasta finales de 2021 debido a que se encuentran en una zona de extracci\u00f3n de agua potable de la ciudad de Friburgo (zonas de protecci\u00f3n de aguas I y II). Adem\u00e1s, hay que trasladar o modificar ligeramente otras tres calles porque tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n afectadas por la zona de protecci\u00f3n de aguas I. Para ello se ha planeado la construcci\u00f3n de dos calles nuevas en un terreno colindante. Esto ha dado lugar, por ejemplo, a que los hoyos 1, 9, 10 y 18 comiencen o terminen en la casa club, a diferencia de lo que ocurr\u00eda anteriormente.
