Construction work on a new irrigation & storage pond with around 35.000 m³ volume at the Golf-Cub Heilbronn-Hoehnlohe have been completed. The poor weather in late summer and autumn 2025 delayed the work, meaning that the installation of the pond liner could not be completed until April 2026. This new pond is intended to secure the water supply in an emergency in the face of climate change, rising summer temperatures and longer periods of drought. Much of the excavated material from the pond was used at the same time to optimise the directly adjacent driving range – with the creation of target greens.
