Compact Courses

Compact facilities with a future:

For more and more people who play or want to play golf, time has become an essential factor. It doesn't always have to be 18 holes. For many people, 9 or even fewer holes are enough. Numerous examples of first-class 12- or 13-hole courses around the world successfully demonstrate this. These compact facilities are not only time-saving but also suitable for events. Corporate events, camps for teams of all kinds and attractive, fast forms of play can be easily organised here.

A decisive factor here is: these are high-quality, well-built and attractively designed compact courses that are suitable for all levels of play and are not perceived as inferior beginner courts. Quite the opposite: they are designed to generate a high level of benefit, training effect and fun as "Golf courses in small" .

Beside 6 to 12-hole courses, children's or family short courses can also be an attractive additional offer for golf courses in order to increase the number of members and secure the future of golf courses and golf in general.

These "ad-on facilities" for beginners, small groups, children, families, golf instructors with groups and players with less time to play golf take the pressure off the main courses and ensure a better distribution of customers across the complete facilities. In conjunction with a wide range of practice facilities, a higher utilisation rate can be achieved for more golfers.

Kompakte und/oder öffentliche Golfplätze müssen nicht immer 18 Löcher oder ein Par von 27 oder 36 besitzen.

In today's world of leisure activities, more compact golf courses with 9 holes and, for example, only one Par of 32 are not uncommon. Due to the high load and frequency of play, well-built and sufficiently large greens must be provided and high quality playing areas must be provided. A higher number of short fairways and Par 3 holes increases the sense of achievement for weaker golfers, but at the same time offers enough appeal for better golfers through an interesting and attractive design.

The centrepiece of such facilities should also be a wide Driving-Range ̶ for instance in the form of a  180 metres wide artificial turf teewhich provides space for up to 60 players to practise, also reducing maintenance and other costs. Numerous target greens increase the training fun and a short game area with at least three "stations", for example, provides sufficient space for practising.

A small "Kids Golf Course"as an „Ad-on“ can to introduce children to the game. Ideal for accompanying parents, for other beginners but also for practising as a spacious pitching area for all other golfers.

Compact and versatile in use.

More varied short course with 6(7) holes. Through possible partial utilisation/integration of an existing hole of the main course, the start of the short course can be temporarily relocated closer to the clubhouse.

When redesigning entire practice areas, extremely wide and visually flat land areas of driving ranges can be reduced in size and, for example, covered with three new short practice holeswhich are also intended for golf beginners and interested parties.

Customised concepts matter

Every concept needs a suitable system, depending on the target groups and long-term concept. That's why we analyse your needs and provide appropriate advice before building and designing a compact system.

Simple copies of other systems rarely fulfil the set goal. Taylor made facilities that are sustainable, resource-conserving, economical and fun must be the goal if they are to be truly attractive locally.
