Competitive into the future

The owner of the golf course of the traditional Mittelrheinischen Golf Club Bad Ems now intends - after the final takeover of the facility in October 2024 - to renovate the somewhat ageing golf course, the clubhouse and its surroundings. "Fresh cell cure" will take place.

For the centenary in 2028 the course is to be given a new splendour.

Over the last years Himmel Golf Design developed a master plan for the renovation and optimisation of the golf course on Denzerheide. The master plan and the associated capital for its realisation are included in the Anne Ehl Foundation. This ensures the realisation of the plan. From 2025, the entire facility, including operations, will be transferred to Parkland-Golf-Course-Bad Ems GmbH & Co. Kg. The planning ideas elaborated in the master plan are to be implemented in the years 2025-2027 so that the golf course shines again for the centenary in 2028. .

The First construction phase has already begun and includes fairways 2 and 4 to 11 as well as the tees of fairways 1 and 3. In addition, drainage problems will be rectified, the irrigation system modernised and the entire entrance area to the course made more friendly and open.

The second phase will begin in 2026.
