The Open Golf Eichenried Besitz- und Betriebsgesellschaft mbH & KG built a compact executive course with a par 32 and a spacious driving range and practice facilities on an approx. 26ha neighboring property of the Golfclub München-Nord Eichenried(BMW Open venue Austragungsort) einen kompakten Executive Course mit Par 32 und großzügiger Driving-Range und Übungsanlagen zusammen mit Himmel Golf Design .
Despite its small size, the relatively elaborately designed golf course was conceived as a "smaller version" of a “large” course. The quality on offer is high. The 180-meter wide driving range tee provides space for over 55 players. The five par-4 and four par-3 holes are challenging yet fair. They offer an enjoyable challenge even for more advanced golfers.
Despite its compact area, a high contribution was made to sustainable maintenance and ecological enhancement of former farmland. The choice of low-maintenance grasses and the creation of lean rough areas reduce the use of fertilizers. Lean roughs ensure that game delays are kept to a minimum at this Play-as-you-Pay facility.
Attractive and intelligently designed fairways provide sufficient playing fun for average golfers and for better players.
