One particular hallmark is the groundwater pond created over the years from a gravel extraction area that was in operation during the planning and construction of the course. The approx. 8 ha large pond, which surrounds 5 fairways, forms the golfing and visual highlight of the course. Due to the high demands of these holes, the remaining holes have been designed in a more gentle and pleasant way so that visitors can still have fun and enjoy the course.
